privacy issues

on freedom of information: I'm not a big believer in privacy. My thought to posting of "public" information is that it is democratizing, making what was ordinarily the domain of expensive private detectives publicly available to anyone with a net connection. Yes, some things "shouldn't" be seen or publicly available, but that which shouldn't be seen shouldn't be looked at. We have eyelids.
